What do you do in one day? The two endurance specialists Tony Sbalbi and Beni Hug climb mountains. Many mountains. In a single day.
In May 2015, the two of them together completed an incredible series of ascents. It began on the Jungfraujoch and ended twenty hours and 65 kilometres later on the Aletschhorn.
They first went in the direction of Mönch (4099 m) and then over the normal route to Jungfrau (4158 m). Followed by the Gross Grünhorn (4044 m) and the Fiescherhörner (4049 m/4025 m). Finally, the two highest peaks in the Bernese Alps were on the agenda: the Finsteraarhorn (4273 m) and the Aletschhorn (4195 m). Makes a total of seven four-thousand-metre peaks – in a single day.
